Richard "Mack" Machowicz

Richard “Mack” Machowicz is the compelling host and producer of Discovery Channel’s hit show “FutureWeapons”, now in its third season airing prime time on Wednesday nights. Mack also produced and hosted a one-hour special for the Discovery Channel called “Weapons That Changed the World,” which continues to be seen on both the Discovery and Military Channels. He recently completed a cameo appearance with Gerard Butler on a new film with the working title “GAME” directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the dynamic duo that created the hit film Crank.

Mack co-founded Warpath Entertainment, which has produced two short films. The most recent of which is “Window” starring academy award winner Louis Gossett Jr. Under the Warpath Entertainment banner Mack also wrote, produced, directed and starred in the short film, “Trouble With Julian.” He also developed and hosted the one-hour pilot for NBC called “The Gift” and is in the process of developing a one-hour non-scripted series called “In Case of Emergency!” In this series learn to handle any sort of disaster. Mack is the founder and creator of the Bukido® Training System. Much of Mack's expertise derives from his experience as a ten-year veteran of the U.S. Navy SEALs. While a member of SEAL Team One and Two he participated in numerous tactical operations. During his service in SEAL Team Two, he was attached to the training cadre as the Leading Petty Officer of Land, Mountain and Arctic Warfare. He has over 25 years of experience in the martial arts studying such systems as muay thai boxing, Jeet Kune Do, kickboxing, aikido, jujitsu, savate, arnis and karate. He was a certified instructor in Naval Special Warfare Combat Fighting Instructor Course, a Naval Special Warfare Scout/Sniper and has received multiple black belts. Mack also served as a personal protection specialist for many high profile individuals within the political arena, business world and entertainment industry.

Mack has worked with and conducted speaking engagements for various professionals ranging from the National Football League and the National Basketball Association to senior executives and members of the entertainment industry.

Mack is working on a new non-fiction book, has appeared in several plays as a lead and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
