Derron Ross
Derron Ross has a passion for the world of film, television, games and comic books, and works as an animation supervisor at the award winning Blur studio in Venice Beach, CA.
Derron began his journey in the martial arts studying Tai Chi under Sifu Dan Chinda. After relocating to southern California in 1998, he began a quest to find a path that would challenge him to fulfill the potential he saw within himself. That mission resulted in meeting Richard Machowicz and the Bukido® Training System. Derron’s dedication and commitment to Bukido® has radically altered his life—mentally, physically and spiritually.
Derron is hungry for every opportunity to train clients with the Bukido® Training system and grow the Bukido® family. He is committed to being a man of honor and virtue. He has found that serving others through Bukido® training has consistently led to unimaginable growth in his life. Derron has rocketed through every class offered and is committed to taking on the responsibility of being a Bukido® instructor since completing “The Forge.” This amazing training opportunity is where he truly faced the fear and diminishing conversation he felt had held him back. The “Not Dead, Can’t Quit” attitude instilled through “The Forge” is now a way of life that drives him forward every day. Derron has served as executive protection specialist with the Bukido® Assurance Tactical Team, lovingly called the B.A.T. Team, and keeps his physical skills incredibly sharp by leading training classes and B.L.A.S.T. seminars. Derron has been tested in real life altercations where his Bukido® skills effectively saved his life.
Derron also has an immense passion for helping others. He prides himself in training new clients because he truly believes he can make the world a better place through Bukido® training. The only way to do it is one person at a time!
